I will choose to invest in companies that are promising (after doing enough research). By buying shares at a lower price, I can bring down my average price for all the shares of that company.
I will think about diversifying my portfolio.
I can simply relax 
and wait for the market to turn around.
I can invest in the real estate market - it could be by way of REITs or buying another property.
It requires courage and a heavy heart to buy because in the case of a stock market crash, the stocks are falling but I do not know till what point they will stop falling further, as markets can not be timed. Here, buying good stocks in such market is similar to catching a falling knife. Though riskier, it can reward more handsomely, if the right stock is selected.
Only buy the best: Buy the very best stocks I can. If I am studying 10 stocks, I will choose the very best one of those 10 to buy.
Hence, stock market tests the patience. And all one has to have is faith.
Also, I will refrain from selling my stocks. When the stock market crashes, people become anxious, and new investors may sell their stocks or stay away from the market altogether.
Remember that stocks cannot continue to rise indefinitely, and that crashes are an inevitable part of the process.

HopeAlways : When the stock market crashes, it can be hard to watch the value of one's portfolio shrink in value in real time and do nothing about it. But if one is investing for the long term, doing nothing is often the best course.
HopeAlways Syuee: A stock market crash is inevitable. But it need not necessarily be bad news for long term investors. As long as one is prepared mentally and financially for a crash, it can still be an incredible investment opportunity.
