Many of us would have heard news about Mr. Trump own social media TMTG, which came with a mission, that is to give a voice to all. The price of $Donald Trump(BK2592.US$ stocks such as $Digital World Acquisition Corp(DWAC.US$ and $Phunware(PHUN.US$ “went to the moon” when the news came out. At one point, $Phunware(PHUN.US$ made a heroic rise of 1099.35%!
Beside the Oct 2021 of 1099.35% rise, there is also another piece of news that make $Phunware(PHUN.US$ rise more than 1000%, to be exact, 1988% meteroic rise. That piece of news is about $Phunware(PHUN.US$ developing a unique block-chain-based security token known as PhunCoin in January 2019, and forming a blockchain partnership with $IBM Corp(IBM.US$.

For beginners, straddles is an options strategy which an investor holding position in both a call option and put option. Both have the same expiry date, same underlying stock and same strike price.

Blessedme : My strike price was 100 n 110. Hence i am safe for tomorrow expiry and hopefully it wont drop to below 110 next month option expiry date.

Usually I find methods that benefit from implied volatility (e.g selling puts , short straddles) dropping to be best for most investors.
Reasons?
-most investors usually take notice of a stock when there are huge fluctuations(high implied volatility)

I like the video that you highlighted, especially at time 10:22 to 11:54 give a excellent sum-up of short straddle and long straddle. 
and of course the multiple factors such as technical analysis, fundamental analysis, news and luck too. 
IMO, it really relies on oneself to decide between defined profit + undefined risk or undefined profit + defined risk.
