How did you deal with losses in the stock market?
Views 105K Contents 489

don't invest more than you can afford to lose

The way I Handle losses is if I'm down a certain percentage amount I will sell half and take the tax right off. I will keep the other half if I believe the stock will recover within a year. I've learned through experience that on risky plays It's best to put a stop loss in place to manage your losses. Seeing your stock go red for a long period of time can be hard to watch but if you believe in the company and believe it will recover than just hold. overall the stock market always recovers.
