To facilitate that, they illegally infest stock chat rooms. Yes. They are here too but not as heavily as they are on Stocktwits.
The value in identifying the accounts is it tells you exactly what the hedges plan of action is. it’s an amazing blessing we would never have if they didn’t impose themselves in our retail space. Example. If an account is posting 🚀🚀🚀 premarket, and you can identify it as a hedge cunt, it tells you to not buy anything especially at open. It suggest that buying puts after the initial spike will be the winner that day. so while masses of retail buy the 🚀🚀🚀 story and buy at high opening prices to facilitate the opening of institutional short positions, they then lose their ass. When you go into the history of the fake account, you see a strong correlation between pumping and stocks that crash the next day. Not being able to delete Stocktwits posts after 5 min is key to this historical data not being erased by the hedges . cuz they would if they could.
You can identify the fake accounts in a number of ways. If they follow an account who last posted before the account following them was formed, it could be fake. If the account was created years before it’s first post, prob fake. The hedges have tons of premade account templates to use. The accounts are connected through who they follow. You can actually trace these back to the mothership accounts who have 15k followers and no posts.
