As a newbie in the stock market, before I purchase a new stock I always ask myself if I'm ready to suffer the specific loss. Unfortunately, whenever the dips occur I never fail to feel sad and regretful! So I think mentality is vital, although somewhat difficult to regulate especially when certain stocks keep falling all the way. But we always learn from mistakes and get on with life. It also taught me the importance of rebalancing my stock portfolio!
