HopeAlways : Finding bargains in the market is a rarity these days, so we should load up shares of great businesses if the opportunity presents itself. There should always be companies on our watchlist that we will consider to buy if prices become attractive. Quality stocks like $Apple (AAPL.US)$, $Microsoft (MSFT.US)$, $NVIDIA (NVDA.US)$ are outstanding additions to our stock portfolios if they take a dip.
Syuee : I will only dip buy high quality companies that I would be comfortable holding for a long period of time. That way, if the price continues downward below my buy point, I will have enough confidence in the company to hold until the price recovers.
I shall do my own research before buying anything, but there is also value in listening to the experts. When multiple top-rated analysts recommend the similar stock and my personal research leads to the same conclusion, then I know my chances of success are pretty high.
Dip buying questionable companies is a dangerous game and not worth the risk. Catching a falling knife can slice up my portfolio in a hurry.
