Syuee : Personally, I find options give more bang for the buck
, meaning they provide good leverage to get big profits with small stakes.
And, there are so many things we can do by just combining plain vanilla options and stocks in our trading strategy. It never fails to fascinate me!
I buy call on a stock rather than shares when I am quite sure of a stock price going upwards and put when sure of it is going down. It gives me leverage in a way.
This is all about the good side of a coin. There is also downside and sometimes I have lost money. But if I sum it all up, I am still very positive. So in my personal view, options trading is always better and fun if you do it sensibly and prudently.
HuatLady Syuee: Very sensible of you to understand that there are always two sides to a coin when you invest in options. After all nobody can factually predict how thing will turn out. The important point is that you follow your gut.
HuatEver Syuee: Your forte lies in your positive mindset of accepting loss at times when options trading does not favour you.
makankaki : Options are derivatives contracts that give the buyer the right to either buy or sell a fixed amount of an underlying asset at a fixed price on or before a contract expires. Investors use it as a hedging tool to reduce risks or use it as a lower cost way to go long or short the market with limited downside risks. However, one needs to pick the right call/put option to purchase which reads the stock position correctly). It’s cheaper than owning the equities so options trading can be a good way to stay invested when there are limited resources.
Max8888 : Options are tough to understand without a guide. One fear the loss and may not have the courage to start the journey.
102170667 : i would prefer courses to learn about investing in etf for rookie. thanks. anyway other courses in moomoo is usefull though.
winblessing : Options is time sensitive as it decays in value. It pretty seems likes a ticking time bomb, a lethal killing tool in the market but depending on how well one uses it. Hope the bomb doesnt land on me.
Jackosen : Options to me are still riskier than normal stock trading, unless you are able to willing to bear the risk for higher returns.
