Syuee : Options trading is different from investing in equities. One significant distinction between stocks and options is that stocks give me a small piece of company equity, while options are only contracts that give me the right to purchase or sell the stock at a specific price on a certain date.
One should take it as a business activity, not gambling. With proper study and attention to the trades, options trading is highly educative and profitable.
winblessing : People have been using options unusual trading activity to aid them in their investment. I think definitely it is part of the game in the stock market, so as a start, it will be nice to go through basic options courses in moomoo app.
Doxalite : Options trading is a very good way to hedge against adverse market movements, to protect profits, and is also a very good way to obtain a stock I want to invest in at a good price while cashing in on the time value of the option.

Robert Purbeck : I haven’t tried yet on moomoo but I have always been a fan of trading covered calls in my IRA accounts to juice my income stream. It’s basically free money especially in a commission free environment like moomoo. It may only add a few bucks per month per call but that is enough to take a growth and dividend stock into a much larger return. And if the stock pulls back you can buy back the option and do it again.
steady Pom pipi : While I'm studying, even though I'm not trading options for the time being, I sometimes observe the trend of some stocks by observing changes in options.
Carmen13 : Option trading limits the losses to the premium price but enable the possibility of making higher profit margin with low capital. However, option trading is more complicated compared to equity trading and requires more knowledge and skill before one starts to embark on this endeavor.
