$Advanced Micro Devices(AMD.US)$ $Invesco QQQ Trust(QQQ.US)$ $SPDR S&P 500 ETF(SPY.US)$ The markets were strangely soft prior to the open this morning. This translated to a soft opening as well. The early action in the SPY and QQQ is up but uninspiring. All suggest we are searching for a direction this morning. The charts look more positive than negative and i am biased to lean toward the underlying bullish trend as the morning progresses. BUT, the recent break through action by the Indexes, might just be a false breakout and we are going to retrace. I am not a fan of that option as the SPY and QQQ both held support yesterday and the SPY is doing well this morning. I think we will get organized here shortly, and make some positive progress.
