doctorpot1 : Doubt they will disappear, the flood gate had opened and retail investors are now getting hooked. The paradigm have shifted. The low cost broker even cause TDA to go commission free. already made huge dent and disruption in the business model of brokerage.
Even in the super worse case that any of the company is going to close down I'm sure those old school brokerage firm and bank will wanna buy over. The users base are just too valuable liao.
