Never keep stocks on their earnings date

I kept $Waters(WAT.US)$ all the way until their earnings date because all the news were saying they did a good job and will for sure beat their earnings estimation.

Their stocks drop quite significantly after the earnings. I have to cut loss before it went deeper.

Biggest loss I ever made.
