@lusy bubb :
With the Fed meeting this week, we will probably see some red.

People will be afraid about tapering, so it will be red. Then the Fed will announce exactly what everyone is expecting, but market will overreact (as always), so it will be red again. Then, we are gonna lay down and cry.

Have a good week everyone !

  • Syuee :

  • chris from queens : Why the run up to Christmas could be the season to invest is simple... I already spoke to the fat man that climbs down your chimney SANTAA! and he told me YOLO in to everything! do your DD on a company you feel has potential and can maintain that potential into great things and invest in what you believe in.

  • HopeAlways : Earning season is in the rearview mirror and the Christmas season is afoot. Concerns of the Omicron variant seem to be rocking markets again, as are the threats of a tightening monetary policy from the Fed. Though the stock market may be highly volatile and uncertain, there are still ample opportunities for investors. While consumers are gearing up for the festive season,  savvy investors should find ways to strengthen their stock portfolios. Many businesses are facing supply-chain and inventory issues during the busy festive season. But the final stretch of the year is here, and companies like $Etsy Inc (ETSY.US)$ and $Walmart (WMT.US)$ are positioning themselves for what will be another busy holiday shopping season. Smart investors may view this as an opportunity to adjust their portfolios. Adding $Etsy Inc (ETSY.US)$ and $Walmart (WMT.US)$ to their shopping bags could prove to be a good decision. In spite of so many things looking bubbly, and the combination of higher inflation,  Fed tapering, and higher rates, a Santa Claus rally is still possible. Investors will be greatly anticipating this phenomenon that will bring a much needed cheer to recent stock market jitters.

  • Syuee : Investors tend to sell losing stocks at the end of December so they can claim tax losses. And, bargain hunters are then able to purchase the stocks at a discount.

    This new demand creates buying pressure on the market, which affects gains and losses.

    Retail stocks outperform when people are buying presents around the Christmas holidays.

    People spend money around the festive holidays for gifts, food and drinks. When companies make more money, the value of their stocks increase. The effects are often seen through December till January.

    The end of December has shown to be a good time to buy small caps or value stocks, to be poised for the rise early in the next month.

    Traditionally, the last 5 to 7 trading days of the year is typically referred to as the Santa Clause Rally.

    So again, the last trading days of the year may offer some good bargains? undefined

  • 不理不理左不理 HopeAlways: Omicron is here to stay. Investing in pharmaceutical firms is also another opportunistic approach as it is the seasonal flu season.

  • Syuee HopeAlways: $Etsy Inc (ETSY.US)$ is still a great business with the financial base and growth. Etsy has also shown it benefits greatly from operating leverage.

  • jasonleett HopeAlways: Season for giving

  • jasonleett HopeAlways: Words of wisdom....

  • HuatLady Syuee: Great of you to send a gentle reminder for investors who are on the alert for bargain buys during year end.
