$Grab Holdings(GRAB.US)$ does it really so bad? More than 50% of my daily expenses are pay through grabpay. Include payments at restaurants, food court, and grabfood. Can't imagine a day without grab.

Grab is not just a taxi app.. It definitely worth more than this.

I just buy some and will hold till it reach ipo price.

  • Jsinx : thats what i am thinking as well.
Imagine in future if grab pay is like revolut or utrip. top up in my home currency can easily used in other sea countries. undefined

  • n3wb1e : One possible reason is the lack of understanding of Grab by the US investors given that the app is only available in SEA.

  • 102496008 : Good price to nibble some grab stock now and hold. It has growth potential thou it's still uncertain if it can fulfill the profit expectations undefined

  • 102161969 : When you use GrabFood, the merchants are bleeding. It might not be a win-win for them. They take quite a lot from the merchants.

They only care for themselves. They rather offer discounts for self-pick so that they still earn at the expense of the merchants.

  • GameOverBro : from series A all the way to Series G to IPO it has never made money. in fact itost 1.3 billion last quarter. This quarter should be another billion. at 7 it is still extremely overvalued

  • bbparker : I follow u bro

  • 102315873 : Difference between revenue and profit. Even if everyone in SEA was using their app, it doesn't matter at all if every dollar people pay Grab, costs Grab more then 1 dollar to provide the service. They still won't make money.

  • TRIUMPHANT RETURNS : The equation is simple, commuters want an ever low fare, driver want high fares, simply no room for a middleman 20% cut. platform has to SUBSIDIZE either party...so that leaves it w little or no profits.

  • Hummphry : Going to be interesting this week with options expiring for the first time Friday.

  • doctorpot1 n3wb1e: yea US don't understand what is a superapp as they don't have one. China have. Singapore have. US don't have. interview with CNBC where they ask AT what is  super app: https://youtu.be/GbIGOQLmba8
