Homer Fendrick : You're doing exactly the right thing. My wife and I have auto-reinvested 100% of the AAPL dividends paid to our IRA's since 2012. Those new AAPL shares were purchased four times a year over the last nine years, with absolutely no regard to the share price at the time dividends were paid...and yet the average cost/share is $37.39/share.
