Watch out Trailing Stop!!
$Advanced Micro Devices(AMD.US$ Another learning through mistake on setting Trailing Stop. Entered pre-market into AMD at 157.81 looking long for the trade as the pre-market sentiment looked good with likely NASDAQ rebound.
However, make a fatal mistake to set the Trailing Stop Sell immediately at 3.5 stop. The market opened with the ticker yoyo-ing up and down, hitting 159.4 high.
Then followed by the downward swing to 156-ish which trigger the Trailing Stop sell at market price. The stock was sold off at 156.12, netting a loss of 169!!
Learning Point: Set Trailing Stop after observing the momentum of the stock.
