$SoFi Technologies(SOFI.US)$ Buying a financial company that makes no money. Wild.
You have to really be bad at what you are doing to not make money in the financial industry, saying that as someone involved. If you aren't making money it's because you don't know what you're doing.
The excuse people will want to give is that they are investing in technology. Technology for what? They aren't making money, so therefore technology isn't warranted. They need to understand what they actually do before expanding and doing anything else.
Willing to bet their investor base also has absolutely no understanding of what they're investing in.

  • JLMBEN : Do you understand what is a start-up company ??  A startup is a company typically in the early stages of its development. These entrepreneurial ventures are typically started focus on capitalizing upon a perceived market demand by developing a viable product, service, or platform.    All starts_up come with costs , marketing, regulatory requirements etc.  Just to name a few, why are people buying pelanthir (PLTR) or chargepoint (CHPT) that have yet to make a single cents or what you describe yet to make money.

  • JLMBEN : AI platform is not develope just in days or months, it take time take years with proper planning , partnership, studies , market research cater to customer needs and wants.  if you go deep reaeaech into what Sofi has done , the facts and figures are there, how the money is spend acquiring Galileo , partner with pagaya , sofi stadium etc.  their quarter vs quarter improvement , new products development , marketing strategy to acquire new clients etc.

  • t1i5xTWxyB : Buyer at $12

  • JLMBEN : Sofi is on the right track and will do well down the years and will be profitable. .  Recent institutional  upgrade on the stock is for a reason given the company prospect.  As to the secondary offering and recent offload by Chamath Palihapitiya, Softbank (have been completed) I believe it has got to do with the regulatory holdings requirement in order to obtain or expedite on the banking chapter approval. (look at the date for the quarterly earning , redemption warrant announcement , secondary offering , investors conference etc does question me why all fall within this month - I don't think is coincident)  .  Chamath Palihapitiya and Softbank are still holding large shares of Sofi as to date.

  • BBHmissing t1i5xTWxyB: lol

  • JLMBEN t1i5xTWxyB: it will be a big dream if you can get at this price

  • Stay by myself t1i5xTWxyB: You do realize what their market cap would be at 12 right? They have 4.6 billion in cash on the balance sheet

  • what doyouwant Stay by myself: generals left battlefield you should too or die.lol

  • I am robot t1i5xTWxyB: Buyer at $15. Wondering what these sells off mean while the charter is being awaited.

  • Frostythemoom I am robot: top dog are selling…who will come and buy those shares……they sold for a reason….but I think not higher for sure……
