What is your purpose to invest?
Everyone invest for a different reason. For me, I invest to grow my wealth pot for retirement and my child's education.
I just started this year after I learn of #moomoo and the convenience to buy and sell using my phone anytime and everywhere really helped to trigger my interest in investing.

102489653 : which stocks are you into?
102252718OP : It doesn't matter if it's a $1mil or $5k portfolio. The allocation will depends on the motivation to invest and the risk you are comfortable to take.
102252718OP 102489653: The stocks I mentioned are those I am holding
102489653 102252718OP: why move away from REITs?
102252718OP 102489653: Growth is too slow for me
102252718OP 102489653: Once I exposed myself to US and crypto market, REITs and SG market is really slow for me. So far my SG portfolio are the ones that are not profiting and I even sell some at a loss and divert to the US market. It would have been better to put in US ETFs that doesn't have dividend so that you are not taxable.
C Alexa 102252718OP: that's very true.
102489653 : not all US ETFs don't pay dividends right?
102252718OP 102489653: Nope. Not all. So you need to do some research. Some US stocks like $Johnson & Johnson (JNJ.US)$ gives dividend too and you get 30% taxes if i remember well.
