$Raffles Edu(NR7.SG$ $ARA LOGOS Log Tr(K2LU.SG$ $Sitra(5LE.SG$ (Morning Post) After Raffles Education (Raffles Education) stock trading resumed today, its stock price once surged 19.67% to 7.3 points, and the trading volume has reached 31.87 million shares. The stock price plummeted 25.61% to the lowest closing record in history of 6.1 points on Monday. The trading volume reached 52.34 million shares, the highest in ten years, and stock trading was suspended the next day.
The company revealed yesterday that several directors were questioned by the Singapore Monetary Authority and the Commercial Affairs Bureau on Tuesday (10/19) about the authorities' investigation into Affin Bank (Affin Bank) debt collection and whether anyone violated the relevant disclosure requirements of the Securities and Futures Act (Securities and Futures Act).
These directors include Group Chairman and CEO Zhou Huasheng (who is also the non-executive chairman of Sitra Holdings (Sitra Holdings)), Chief Independent Non-Executive Director Lin Xiaode (who is also the chairman of ARA LOGOS Logistics Trust) Management Company), He Jun, a non-independent non-executive director, and independent non-executive directors Huang Guangming and Yan Zhen. Interrogated by the authorities also included Zheng Jinlian, a director and key management member of Malaysian subsidiaries Raffles K12 and Raffles Iskandar; Zheng Jinlian is also Zhou Huasheng's wife. Their passports have been withheld but none are required to be bailed, and no one has been arrested or charged.
