$PayPal(PYPL.US)$ $Facebook(FB.US)$ $CrowdStrike(CRWD.US)$ Paypal is probably seeing the monstrous growth in social commerce in China and think they can duplicate it here.

Many people here saying Facebook is going to be the winner. I think that might be right. But even being #2 or #3 in social commerce is still going to be incredibly profitable.

An analyst mentioned that Paypal might be using PIN to acquire more merchant customers. This makes sense since PIN is going to become a native ecommerce platform, and more and more stores, chains, and merchants will be getting sales from PIN. And Paypal can just follow up and offer some integration benefits.

Having said that, these benefits are going to take years to develop. I'm not sure if it's better to keep my money here versus say, a cloud security play like Okta or Crowdstrike.
