Earnings means downward trend

I noticed that most of the time when companies release their earning, it will cause the share to slide downward. This scene has been playing for a couple of times, $Alibaba(BABA.US)$ $Apple(AAPL.US)$ $Pinterest(PINS.US)$ Even if the companies are showing positive earnings, the share price will still slide downward.
