A Year of Flowers: Failure to repay the $205 million debt on schedule has set up an emergency team

Huayangnian Holdings, a Hong Kong-listed real estate company, announced that the company failed to pay the $205,656,000 bill due on October 4 as scheduled.
Chinese Homebuilding Fantasia Holdings saw its dollar-denominated bonds slide more than 5 cents to fresh record lows on Monday after it said it had failed to make a $205.6 million International market debt payment on time.
Regarding this default, Flower Year said that due to multiple factors such as repeated epidemics, industry policies, and macroeconomics, the company's liquidity became phased out. With the support of local governments, financial institutions and other parties, emergency response teams have been set up, and risk mitigation plans are being formulated.
Fantasia Holdings says it will have a potential impact on financial condition and cash position of the group.
