Great motivation to know about current affairs

I started trading due to the hype that is going around meme stocks like $AMC Entertainment(AMC.US)$ and $GameStop(GME.US)$. Ever since, I have learnt a lot from these few months of trading. I am more motivated to follow current affairs in the world, just to check for positive news about stocks I want to get. I feel more up-to-date with the world as such. For instance, during this pandemic, I've bee following vaccine stocks like $Moderna(MRNA.US)$ and $BioNTech(BNTX.US)$. These stocks have been facing lots of fluctuations. When Pfizer received the FDA approval, there was a huge increase in these stocks. From that, I know there is more public confidence with the vaccines and thus I was also happy to be part of the majority vaccinated.
