Co-Wise: How do you pick a stock?
Views 1.1M Contents 283

I'm not a vet of the market but I feel these are 3 of my most helpful overlooked aspects

Well for the sake of everyone's time I'll try to keep to the area of interest while trying to avoid an excessive reply.

If I had 3 mulligans
1.) LEARN FUNDAMENTAL ANALYSIS from the jump, along with TA at the very start. I've learned that most stocks with bullish price action will  always have continual earnings growth. This was a huge tip from an analysts who built a strategy that follows this concept closely and earnings are the most heavily weighted aspect of that strategy. And it works well  :) This will usually help you find more sustained stocks with solid foundations I'd imagine. But that's only my opinion

2.) Let me know if anyone is familiar with this problem? LOOKING FOR BULLISH TRENDS way too often W/O LEARNING TO DETECT BEARISH TRENDS/REVERSALS. Short and sweet, after doing this I seemed to detect bullish trends way too often. Almost everything looked bullish unfortunately. I didn't understand wave theory or wave count, or study bearish chart patterns. I hope this makes sense for You. I'll end this segment on this point.

3.) Making "EVERYTHING GOES"  Jumbalaya. OVER EDUCATING W/O GENERAL DIRECTION OR GUIDANCE.
This can happen anywhere but especially true when trying to access education by using youtube or similar platforms. Don't get me wrong, there is AMAZING INFO if you have the time to find it and know where to look/who to trust. (trying BUT my downfall was my scope of research/education was very broad/without a planned educational direction. In hindsight, it would be super easy to start over with a proper game plan. But to #GOWITALONE as i did, I'm not sure how I would've known better otherwise. What I now know is that finding the "RIGHT WAY" can get you in the game much faster.

Well this is the best I have to offer THE BEST COMoomooNITY in investing. I look forward to expanding our educational content. Can't wait to see everyone else's replies ✌️

  • Machiavellis3rdEye : Just The passion Alone that you project in your vidEos makes me a fan… because no one can fake that shIt! even The Master Liers (actors) here at home in Hollyweird, Ca.
Great info to learn from here, thanks for sharing. The importance of identifying bear market trend really hit home with me.  Because I Always tend toward the bullish grand slam… it’s more appealing to me than merely stealing some (probably more prudent) bearish baSes…yet both of them are really Important aspects of overall success in this stock game. Good stuff.

  • aoimizu : Point #3 is my thorn in the side as well. How can we narrow down to where to put my money when I have some is always tricky.

  • treydonguiOP Machiavellis3rdEye: thanks Mac. @Machiavellis3rdEye that's been a crusher for me also. The bullish bias gets allot of us. Still gets me, lol. Anything new that you're into that you feel like sharing? In life or investing? Funny I thought of sending you a message about 10 minutes ago just to say what's up... Did you have time to check that video I linked a few days back?

  • treydonguiOP aoimizu: IKR, I agree, it's not easy. Just learning who I could trust really consumed me for the longest time.
