U.S. consumers' inflation expectations for the next one and three years rose to the highest in eight years in August

$ProShares Inflation Expectations ETF(RINF.US)$ According to a survey released by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, last month, US consumers’ expectations for the rate of change in inflation in the next one and three years rose to the highest level since 2013. According to this monthly survey of consumer expectations, inflation expectations for the next year rose for the 10th consecutive month in August, with a median of 5.2%. The median inflation expectations for the next three years rose to 4.0%. Both indicators have reached the highest level since the survey began in 2013
