they are creating a classic buy the rumour sell the news situation to make you lose faith and shake out the retail. the shorts know how to play this psychological game very well.
expect them to try to short hard tmr and even into next week to drive retail away from the stock.
but remember, they HAVE to cover before the merger and the market makers will definitely set a dateline for the short Hedgies to cover their shorts, especially the synthetic shares.
