Change from CPNG to Don Don Donki
Finally give up hope and switch all my CPNG positions to Don Don Donki instead.
CPNG is bleeding cash and will continue to bleed for a long time. I have no idea whether CPNG can fully monopolize Korean market soon, and don't know if CPNG can ever compete effectively against Taobao, SEA, or Amazon when it expands out of the tiny korean market.
However, I do like the fact that Don Don Donki already has long history of making profits in Japan. And when decides to expand internationally, easily won hearts of Singaporeans despite the worst timing of entry (pandemic).
Look at the long queues at Donki cashier even at midnight. Remeber this is still the worst time of pandemic with ZERO international shoppers. Donki will fly once pandemic eases.
