A quick comment (don't take it too seriously, analyze it for yourself) :

- Like the story/joke that no one wears shoes in Africa shows that there is a lot of potential for OTA shoes

- It doesn't matter if you don't do it well. Now there is a subscription model as long as you can do it well. See $APPLE (AAPL)$'s various software services business the key is to make it good enough to do the rest

- The key problem is still not good enough... Basic AP is generally good to use but free to give. FSD started too high, didn't have a lot of maturity, the price kept going up, of course the purchase rate kept going down, and tesla was working its ass off to make FSD good enough, and that was everything. The subscription model is hardly irresistibly expensive and prices could change if subscriptions increase (and cars will increase further).

- In fact, don't worry about this realization, even if next year on HW4, dojo, better implementation on the new platform sooner tesla will come back and make HW3 good enough, and it will only get better and better
