gamblingisfun3027 Charleshsg: I agree that long term, the NIO company will definitely do well. But that won't mean the stock price will go up too, you should learn more about ADRs since NIO is a foreign stock traded on American exchange. And right now Chinese ADRs are showing red flags
gamblingisfun3027 gamblingisfun3027: E.g. if you own AAPL stock, you (technically) own a portion of the company (a super tiny, almost non-existent portion though, realistically speaking). If you own NIO stock on NYSE, you don't own any part of NIO at all. You can read up more about ADRs by googling it!

ramenbowlOP gamblingisfun3027: the past few weeks alot of people asking why NIO drop why NIO drop, why NIO drop pre earnings, why NIO drop also after good earnings. I think this thread did all the community a favour, really just pure fundamental facts. technically NIO is still on a 1 year uptrend, that's why I say if 36/37 is broken we can see a bigger drop to 28.

MooerGod ramenbowlOP: Lol, I don’t understand what NIO did to you or is it because it’s a Chinese company, technically moomoo or Tiger is also a Chinese Company but we still trust them and trade on their platform. But NIO won’t possibly just drop 10 in a few days unless there are major political changes in China to the EV market.
ramenbowlOP MooerGod: of course NIO did something really memorable to me that's why it never leaves my eyes now. but unfortunately, as much as I want to see just good things about this company, I am seeing more bad things. 28 is really possible if 36/37 don't hold tomorrow. may get it in a day, cause don't underestimate the momentum of this stock. but over the course of next week, definitely.
