I think US is going to make HF and MM pay for the Trillion Dollar Bill. Why and how? Easy. Currently in US, ‘short gain interest tax’ is about 50%. Anything you again through stock and you profit within 365 days applies to that.
Waiting for HF to bust, imagine how many Billions of dollars the US retain is earning? Half of that goes to Uncle Sam.
Uncle Sam doesn’t lift a finger for it to cover the Trillion dollar budget they gave during covid. Just a thought
