WeChat Alipay removes the Didi Chuxing applet

“Mobility giant” DiDi was hit again. Following the removal of the “DiDi Chuxing” app from the App Store, DiDi Chuxing was simultaneously removed from the Alipay Mini Program and WeChat Mini Program on July 7; DiDi Chuxing is no longer visible in WeChat Pay's transportation and travel services. Alipay and WeChat removed the DiDi Chuxing applet at noon on July 7. A China Securities News reporter discovered that Didi Chuxing had disappeared from the WeChat Pay travel service section, and that the “DiDi Chuxing” applet was no longer visible in the WeChat search. According to information, the mini program involved in going offline this time is only the Didi Chuxing applet for the taxi business. The Shunfeng, Didi Fuel, and Didi Driving Service applets launched by Didi are currently unaffected and can all be used normally.
