REUTERS BEIJING, July 5 - China's former regulatory arm launched a cybersecurity review on Didi Chuxing (DIDI.N), then launched a “cargo version” of the travel app security review. The China Cybersecurity Review Office announced on Monday that in order to prevent national data security risks, maintain national security, and protect the public interest, it has initiated cybersecurity reviews for “full transportation,” “truck assistance,” and “BOSS direct recruitment” (BZ.O). Among them, “Lucky Man” and “Truck Gang” belong to Manbang Group (YMM.N), which recently listed on the US stock market.
An announcement issued at the Cybersecurity Review Office stated that in order to cooperate with the cybersecurity review process and prevent the spread of risks, the three parties stopped registering new users during the review period.
