IPOs Beware
Dear Ah Boy/Ah Girl,
Do not buy a stock on its first day of IPO. DO NOT chase after the initial hype! The price would usually stabilise to a much lower price than the first day.
For example, $Coinbase(COIN.US$ and $JD LOGISTICS(02618.HK$ debuts their IPO recently on NASDAQ and HKSE. Look at their stock price now. They are way lower than their first day IPO closing price.

Hannah2021 : Agreed, I bought twice on first day. Guess what ipo start, went up very fast, few hours later drop to dead. And few months remain dead. Luckily recently see it start to move, and quickly sold it!
