AMC will probably go higher (100-200), but where is this ridiculous number of 500,000 coming from? Do you think that's as insane as I do? I will be ignoring pointless rally cries because this isn't that post.

LSDragon : it's "possible" according to the math, but people aren't robots, and everyone is not going to hold that long if it squeezes. I can see a few hundred, even 1-2k a share maybe
C w6 : any number is a theoriticL possibility. Of course at 500k a share we would literally bankrupt the hedge, they could t cover and only a portion of the shares would be purchased and the price would plummet so realistically per short to cover and potential capitol the most each share could reach would be around 15,000. That does not mean It could not go higher but realistically if that was the average cover price we would bankrupt the system and owe more or not they can't give what they don't have.
Now if you are asking if I think we will reach the highest theoretical limit.... probably not but it's very hard to guess where it ends since we are all individuals acting separately but in support of each other.
With all this said I'm just here for the ride I am not concerned hitting the absolute peak and if I lose some money because I sell behind the peak that's fine by me.

VW is brought up allot as an example. and the numbers are even more on our side then back then, plus there is much more eyes on the market from all over then there was back then as well.
it's possible that there will be an intervention on the rise, but with international eyes on this I don't think that would be wise politically for whoever tries.

C w6 : If you really want to know the math because mine was loosely done, take the network of the hedges invested divide it by the number of shares to get a rough estimate of what could even be possible. Not saying it will or will not reach this but once again they can only give as much as they own.
