The Zacks Consensus Estimate for Q1 bottom line is pegged at a loss of $1.15 per share compared with a loss of $2.22 per share in the year-ago quarter. The consensus mark for revenues stands at $147.8 million, indicating a decline of 84.3% from the prior-year quarter.
In the last reported quarter, its earnings missed the consensus estimate, however revenues surpassed the same by 12.8%.
Shares of $AMC Entertainment(AMC.US$ sank 2.34% in Wednesday, putting it on track for a 7th straight loss. In today's pre-market hours, it bounces 2.94% so far ahead of the Q1 earnings report.

superstonk : And of course, don't forget that the media will down play and speak ill of the stock without mentioning that cinemas are still closed / not operating at max capacity because of covid. It doesn't take a genius to realise that of course earnings will be affected! As theatres begin to open up and more movies come out (looking at you, Marvel), earnings are sure to rise in the coming quarters.
