I assumed they did this so all the crypto kiddies in Silicon valley can start paying for Model S Plaid + with their Bitcoins. Seems like a win win for Tesla, more sales as the buyers dont have to convert their BTC into Fiat and then TSLA gets paid with an appreciating asset $Tesla(TSLA.US)$
