Too much irony
People putting sell limit orders on their $AMC Entertainment(AMC.US$ are actually shorting their own stock they want to go up in price.Traders can quickly determine if there are more sell orders in the market than buy orders—or the opposite. If there are more sell orders, for example, price tends to weaken because of the increased selling pressure. They are actually helping the hedge funds short the stock where they are trying to get shorting stopped . 😂 Im dying.

Mcsnacks H TupackOP : I am trying to figure out how they are getting this number. When the range is 0-1.00 or 0- -1.00. Surely it’s not interest.
Cicelyqed : So, if anything, we should be submitting buy limit orders (you know, BUY THE DIP!)... Right? Or am I taking it too far?
Mcsnacks H TupackOP Cicelyqed: Yes that would be helpful. They are running out of shares anyway. So not much longer. I can’t wait to see the look on their stupid faces when it goes to 100.00
Mcsnacks H TupackOP Mcsnacks H Tupack: Those hedge funds are going to hate it. AMC too
Jooni : I'm still holding
Machiavellis3rdEye Mcsnacks H TupackOP: The last thing I ever want to see at the end of an interesting thread is, “this comment has been deleted.”
Machiavellis3rdEye : Johnny5 no disassemble... need more INPUT!
*immediately removes all sell limit orders on gme and amc that I had previously thought were safeguarding me from missing out on the upcoming HF buying to cover*
pennypincher : wow so we have been working against ourselves this whole time. how is this just being figured out now?
Mcsnacks H TupackOP : Someone asked me about so I looked into it. And usually it’s no big deal but usually it’s only a few people. But can you imagine when 250 million shares are being listed for sell everyday? They don’t look at what prices they are asking for, they just see a ton of sell orders and think we have got to keep this price low or we will never sell all of these orders.
