$AMC Entertainment(AMC.US)$ I'm holding all the way till they announce they are open at full capacity and that the next blockbuster film is coming soon. And I want them to try and "justify" why the price is still in the low single digits. I would love to hear what they say. 😂. I can just imagine Jim Cramer trying to use " ANALYSIS" on that one.

  • MS159 : This reminds me of the movie "the big short," where the people knew that people were delinquent concerning their mortgages, and the news attested the fact, nevertheless, the shares remained unaffected! 🤦‍♂️

  • DollarsmakeSense : It's not completely out of the realm of possibilities. I mean it has traded in the single digits even when they were open and operating.

  • KING of TRADEOP DollarsmakeSense: Yeah! But now they are Debt free with a clean slate. It's pure profit from day one open.

  • DollarsmakeSense : It's been under 10 since October 2019. They were struggling before the pandemic, and the shutdown was likely the final nail in it's coffin. Movie theaters just aren't profitable anymore, and people don't feel like spending 40 bucks to watch another shitty Hollywood blockbuster. They lost their business to streaming services. It's the new video killed the radio star. Netflix and Hulu killed the cinema star, and now to be relevant, even before coronavirus shut down everything, you have to offer streaming at home. Every smart company has made that move. Disney, Paramount, Amazon, HBO,  and all the others available now. I don't see AMC on that list though, but who knows what the future holds for them after this boost of capital, I don't think it's in theaters though.

  • DollarsmakeSense : It's the same for Game Stop. If they don't transform their business model to a digitally relevant service. They're likely fucked as far as being a profitable business going forward.

  • Lance Ramsay KING of TRADEOP: I don't believe they are debt free but they aren't in danger of bankruptcy for the foreseeable future.

  • KING of TRADEOP Lance Ramsay: I think they added more shares in the beginning of this an then cashed out and used the money to pay off debt. That's my understanding ! But I could be wrong. I will have to check again.
