Thanks To My Stocks, Not Luck
I have invested in stocks for many years. Since the day I began to trade, I had been told you only need good luck to earn money. If you earn, then you should be tearful and grateful to the gorgeous goddess of Luck. Well, that’s NONSENSE.
To me, the only thing you should thank is the stock you trade. When you trade, you are in relationships with the stocks you choose. Each stock you hold for a long time or trade frequently can teach you something. So, in this year’s Thanksgiving, I’d like to show gratitude to a few stocks.
To Stocks Paying for My LV![]()
I want to thank $NIO Inc(NIO.US$ . I bought NIO at the beginning of this year. Didn’t think too much. Confident in EV stocks, favor NIO, so I buy. I was able to remain patient when it did not look good. I thank NIO for contributing to most of my earnings this year.
$Aurora Cannabis(ACB.US$ is the second stock I will thank. Well I don’t smoke weed. And not also not a fan of it. But I don’t mind gaining some money from the stock. I convinced myself that Sleepy Joe would win and Trump the idiot would be kicked out of the office. Whether we will be lucky enough to witness the second Civil War or not, weeds will win. Trade on ACB compensates some of my loss earlier.
To Stock Stealing My Gucci![]()
To be honest, I prefer to curse this stock. But I would still say thank you to it. I am talking about $Fastly(FSLY.US$ . FSLY emptied half my pocket this year. After it surged, I bought lots of it. I also trade it frequently in sequent weeks. eventually I lost 50% of my money.
I thank FSLY to teach me an old lesson again, that you should never be crazy about the hottest stocks in the market, if you don’t understand it. Always, always trade the stocks you know and have faith in.
Something to Share
If you wonder how to choose the right stock, I would suggest not focus on the stock itself, but pay attention to the market or sectors instead. It’s hard to judge or predict the trend of a single stock. But there are many ways to predict the way the whole sectors are heading. Like this year, it is easy to make judgments on EV, Medicine,Travel and weed. When you find the right sector, then look for the stock you prefer. Trade only when you want to. That’s my experience.
