How to draw stock trendlines on moomoo?
Hey moomooers, drawing tools on moomoo just got updated in the latest version. Check out this intro and give it a try!
Drawing Tools in technical analysis help you analyse price movements to identify possible buy or sell opportunities.
Moomoo provides drawing tools with 29 types of in-built chart pattens on desktop version, and 22 types of chart pattens on APP version.
By either drawing lines on top of share prices or indicators, or by placing markers on charts to mark events or interpret prices, the various options available in the Drawing Tools bar can be of significant assistance.
All the drawings and annotations added to any security will be saved permanently and synced to your PC or APP. You can navigate away from the share, and come back later and the drawings will still be available.

2.1 PC & Mac
The toolbar in the figure is explained below.
Section 1 shows line types, annotations, font sizes and types can be controlled by using this simple editing panel. Each icon has a drop-down menu. Under the menu there are mutiple types of line available. If you need to deselect a certain type of line drawing, click the first icon in Section 1.
Section 2 shows the modes of line drawing, which help you adjust the drawing status.
Section 3 shows the small toolbar for each drawing. You can adjust the colours, line stroke, and open a setting panel.
If you want to adjust the location of a specific line, you can right-click your mouse to open a menu, and then select "location point setting" to set up detailed line coordinates.

Section 1 shows line types, geometry types, annotations that can be controlled by using this simple editing panel. Each icon has an expanding menu. Under the menu, there are more types of lines available.
Section 2 shows the modes of line drawings, which help you adjust the drawing status according to your preference. Modes explaination is given on the above.
Section 3 shows the status box while you are drawing, and the drawing process is completed when all pivot points are settled.
To adjust the location of a specific line on mobile app, just long press on the location point to bring up the magnifying glass, then move the point to the specific location with the help of the glass.
Section 4 shows the small toolbar for each line. You can adjust the colours, line stroke, and open a setting panel for a specific line.
