Always take notes, for trading - New feature update

Hi Moomooers!

I am Richard, product manager at TeamMoomoo. Recently we did something BIG.
Always take notes, for trading - New feature update
Well, not that big honestly, but I hope it's meaningful and useful to all of you.
The thing is, we deliver a new feature in Moomoo, it's Trading Notes. And I would like to share my thoughts and story behind Trading Notes with you guys.

Why do we coming up with the idea of Trading Notes?

Enter the trading password and unlock my account...

I kept asking myself,

"Is it time to buy the dip?"

"Will it move up after 3 secs hesitation?"

"It's moving oddly,  should I cancel the order?" ...

I gritted my teeth and pressed 'Buy' with trembling.

A few seconds later, I received a deal reminder. With a sigh of relief, a thought flashed through my mind, "Why not take notes?" Review is the only way for every investor to grow!

Firstly, open an excel;
Secondly, set up time, ticker, buying or selling, price, quantity, general trend, the reason for trading;
Thirdly, format it;
Lastly, save it by name ...

After rehearsing in my head, I gave up. Too much trouble for taking notes! I can do it for one time, but it's definitely not the best way for long term recording.

Such thing happens. It reminds me of various types of trading notes or journals I have seen before. Everyone take screenshots and PS, or create a form, try to record thoughts in trading and transaction result, and keep it in personal files or post to social media...

Are there no other simple ways to take trading notes? Must it be so time-consuming and laborious? No, this does not make sense.

"If someone helps keep my transaction information, and what I just need to do is to write my reviews in 2 minutes, how convenient it would be!"

As a product manager, can I deliver a feature that allows everyone to take trading notes in an easy simple way?

"Try it out!"

The development of Trading Notes

To build a useful trading notes feature, the first thing we need to figure out is what a good trading note is.

We dug deep into a lot of investor forums and communities, read all kinds of trading notes and journals, then analyzed, sorted, and summarized what kinds of trading notes are needed according to different kinds of investors and investment methods, such as  Long-term value investment, short-term technical analysis, and high-frequency trading.

Having intense discussions and repeatedly overturned the plan with the team, we got an answer in our head. The big picture painted in our minds and we decided to take the first step: Make transaction records sharable.

Share transaction history doesn't sound complicated at all, screenshot works, but we want more than that:

-We want to offer you more than just a dry record. We add rating, emoji, and words to allow you to review your trading more intuitively. Visitors can also like and comment on your transactions.

-We want your records in the notes to be unforgeable since it's sharable. With the support of our trading team, transactions inserted in the Trading Notes are not pictures, they are 100% real transactions and orders happened in Moomoo.

-We want to let you know under what condition the transaction happens. With the support of our Quotes team, transactions inserted in the Trading Notes show respectively which point did you placed or filled in that day, the market highs and lows are clear at a glance.

The road to perfection is bumpy. Multi-team cooperation is a challenging task. I want to shout out to our engineers who worked overtime to make it come true. As some of you have already known, the first phase of Trading Notes was finally launched in February!
