Netflix announced the latest Q4 earnings results on Jan 19.
The results show that its Q4 revenue was $78.5 billion, a year-on-year (YoY) increase of 2%. Net profit for Q4 2022 was $55 million, a YoY decrease of 90.9%. But most importantly, the number of paid subscribers lost is far less than expected, reaching 231M with a positive 4% YoY. NFLX surged up to 8% after the earnings release.
