Investing includes a partial ownership, a tangible purchase of stock in a company of tangible assets. If you own even one millionth of a company, you own one millionth of every piece of equipment it has. One millionth of the rocket they built, one millionth of the secretary’s eraser, and one millionth of their debt to asset ratio.

You have better odds at gambling but investing you don’t lose as much. Gambling is all or nothing. Investing is based on gain/loss percentages. Options are technically gambling in this sense. With the market the way it is, starting to look like gambling is the better way to go. Just look at my week all my gains gone. Right back at square one.

Investing stock totally different than gambling... Gambling like buying 4D and Toto not 💯percent win 💰💰💰exactly depend on your luck.... However, investing stock like $Tesla (TSLA.US)$ $Apple (AAPL.US)$ totally depend on company's profit... You confirm will earn 💰💰from $Tesla (TSLA.US)$ $Apple (AAPL.US)$ in future... because of demand of the Tesla's car🚘🚘 and 📱📱IPhone ...so I prefer invest in stock trading compare than 🎰gambling....

Right now with the market rigged against retail investors, from govt to banks to market makers and hedge funds all colluding and allowing illegal naked shorting, it is pretty much gambling unless you basically like to short stocks (cuz we’re not blind, we can clearly see what’s happening if you watch the market long enough). It truly hurts the underlying company along with its employees. So dont complain about the faltering economy, high interest rates, supply chain shortages, jobs, etc. in the ...

Dadacai OP iamiam : Hi, thanks for sharing that article. It highlights the importance of identifying outperformers and exiting underperformers so we should monitor the market and portfolio performance regularly. If I understand the article correctly, it states the total lifetime gain was zero if one had invested in only underperforming stocks, not that their value became zero.
