30% investors cried over investing: how about you?

Investing is a great way to earn passive income while sleeping, but it's not as easy as it looks, especially during the market correction. According to a painstaking research from MagnifyMoney, 3 in 10 investors report having cried over investing, and many of those tears came after a loss.
Entering the market with the faith of "BIG WIN", many investors have to face the truth as there is always up and down in life, and the tear-inducing losses may have been fairly unavoidable.
Have you ever cried over investing? What should we do during harsh times?

many investors are investing on shares on the news so they lost money. I think if you will invest in good stocks with proper study like company financial status, company profile, strong fundamentals etc.
Invest for long term good quality shares, you will definitely get good returns

I am investing Good quality stocks with strong fundamentals. I am always checking companies financial before investing. I am investing Good shares for long term horizon I.e 5 to 10 years
I have never cried over investing.  I can said that everyone in the markets paid an "expensive fees" to learn how to invest. We learned from our losses and others to get a positive returns the next time we put money into the markets.
I was very depressed and stressed with unrealised losses, bigger loss, sadder the mode. I turned to Internet to seek any further information, feel happy about positive opinion and feel sad with negative comments. In the end, I realised these from the people at the same situation as me. There few sensible and in-depth comments available freely on the Internet, which sometimes very enlightening. Interesting things is I feel much relieved when I took the loss and sell the positions and I am much happier that I finally face to myself and let it go.
In the market, emotional reactions are an unaffordable luxury for you.

How to survive harsh time?

Investors that have been trading for a period of time would sure know that there wont be only bull run. Up and down of the market is very common. During the down time, first identify stocks that you really need to sell and stop loss. Else, if you dont have the capital to buy the dip, then hold on to the ones that you have on hands. Instead, it is a good time to identify which is a good and bad stock

Staying Mentally Healthy

The best way to handle harsh times, is to embrace them. Personally, I find it important to allow myself to cry if I feel like it. Many people associate crying with weakness, when it can actually be a sign of healing. Crying releases stress, and is therefore a great practice when it comes to staying mentally healthy.
One way to deal with rough times is to avoid it altogether. This means staying invested. But, not paying attention to short-term fluctuations (if you are confident enough in your strategy). It is the nature of the markets to move up and down over the short-term.
I truly believe that the opportunity to learn and grow from it will prove far more valuable than the loss I had experienced. I shall chalk it up to experience, move on with life, learn, grow and keep fighting the good fight. Strong
