I recently setup Moomoo OpenD api for my portfolio tracking in my local llm via LM Studio.
It’s easy to setup and basically free to use. I also more comfortable to link my account in a local llm environment, but still not dare to let AI execute trades for me.
Btw, can Moomoo include get options chain info in the mcp server?![]()

I installed the moomoo openD and asked Claude to performed a paper trade for 100 APPL shares buy at market price and it really did it!!! It was pretty awesome.
The installation was a breeze via the provided skills.md! Just follow the instructions on the openapi.moomoo.com to install the setup via one liner command.
Remember to login to OpenD before you ask Claude to perform any trading tasks!
And remember to logout! haha
