On Thursday, $Amazon (AMZN.US)$ stock fell after the firm reported Q4 adjusted earnings of $1.86/share, vs estimates of $1.50/share, on revenue of $187.79 billion vs estimates of $187.32 billion. The firm projected lower Q1 revenue numbers than Wall Street expected, predicting $155 billion at most this quarter, while analysts wanted $158 billion.

$Alphabet-A (GOOGL.US)$'s Q4 2024 earnings were $2.15/share, slightly above $2.13 estimates, with revenue at $96.47B, just below $96.62B expectations. Google Search ads hit $54.03B, surpassing forecasts. Google Cloud revenue was $11.96B, missing estimates, but had grown 35% YoY to $11.35B in the previous quarter.
Last week:
$Apple (AAPL.US)$ reported Q1 2025 earnings of $2.40/share, beating $2.35 estimates, with revenue at $124.30B, slightly above $124.10B expectations. However, China sales were weaker at $18.41B, missing the $21B estimate.
$Meta Platforms (META.US)$ revenue rose 21% to $48.39B, surpassing $46.98B forecasts.
$Microsoft (MSFT.US)$'s Q4 2024 earnings were $3.23/share, exceeding $3.12 estimates, with revenue at $69.63B, above the expected $68.92B.
