And now I kinda know why diversification is important. So, you see my plan actually has risks, if one stock performa poorly, especially many of the stocks are in the same sector, it might impact the overall returns.

The stock market has become big ups followed by big downs. Stocks struggle to maintain gains. But when they fall they hold onto the bottom for a long time. For example, I had a stock go from over $100 a share to now being worth $8.00. That shouldnt be possible.
