Not sure about others, but when it comes to investment... it means to invest with extra/spare cash![]()

1. Busy your mind with something else.
2. Look at historical data. Use facts to help control your emotions.
3. Don't ever, for any reason, do anything to anyone for any reason ever, no matter what, no matter where, or who, or who you are with, or where you are going, or where you've been... ever, for any reason whatsoever...

I just try to continue thinking long term to avoid making a short term emotional decision. But at the same time, I also try to be cautious and calculated about how much cash reserves I have, or will have, in case I may need it for the rest of the year/etc or whatever the case may be.. like in the worst case that this atrocious market continues for 6-9 months longer at least I know I will be OK and then I can reassess the situation with each of my stock holdings at the end of the year.
