On Tuesday the market experienced a quick sell-off. the S&P 500 fell 2.04%, recorded its biggest one-day loss since May, and the Nasdaq fell 2.83%, recorded its largest daily percentage loss since March.
Tech stocks tumble amid a spike of bond yield, but some economically sensitive stocks, such as Bank of America, are reaching record highs, showing a sign of risk avoidance. However, the Arms Index, so-called the Short-Term Trading Index, fell below 0.5, suggesting that the investors are actually buying the dip.
