Canada's Top Trader Competition – Official Rules

1. Eligibility and Participation

• Account Requirement: Participants must have a valid Moomoo Financial Canada Inc. (MFCI) brokerage account.

• Minimum Entry Requirement: Users must have a minimum of $1,000 CAD in net assets in their cash & margin accounts combined to successfully register.

• Registration: Users must successfully sign up for the competition via the Moomoo website/app during the registration or competition period.

2. Competition Timeline

• Registration Period: April 30th - June 30th.

• Competition Period:

-For users who sign up & become eligible before June 1st: June 1st – July 31st.

-For users who sign up & become eligible after June 1st: From the eligibility date to July 31st.

3. Ranking and Calculation Logic

• Calculation Method: Rankings are determined by Time-Weighted Percentage Return on total account value of cash/margin accounts, to ensure professional accuracy and fairness.

• Calculation Period: For participants who become eligible before June 1st, returns will be calculated from June 1st to July 31st. For participants who become eligible after June 1st, returns will be calculated from the eligibility date to July 31st.

• Ranking Eligibility: Users who complete at least two trades (one buy and one sell is considered two trades) during the competition period will be eligible to enter the ranking.

• Withdrawal Penalty: Any withdrawal of funds from the participating account during the event period(April 30th - July 31st) will result in immediate disqualification and forfeiture of the right to compete for prizes.

All participants with 2 or more trades during the competition period are eligible for a lottery draw from a total pool of CA$100,000.

5. Referral

Refer other new users to participate during the event period, and get referral bonus. Make sure your referral sign up with your referral link, only then will the referral be recorded.

6. Live Trading

This competition involves live trading using your own personal capital. By participating, you acknowledge that you are executing real transactions in the financial markets with "real money". All trades carry the risk of loss, including the potential loss of your principal investment. Moomoo Financial Canada Inc. (MFCI) does not guarantee profits or protect against trading losses incurred during this event.

7. General Terms

1. This Program is open to Canadian residents only who are above the age of majority. (Please note: Each province or territory sets the age of majority for individuals in the province or territory; be sure to check your local provincial policies.) Employees, contractors, or persons similarly associated with Moomoo Financial Canada Inc. (“MFCI”), affiliate, members of their household and employees of any securities regulatory organization or exchange are not eligible for this Program.

2. Risk Disclosure: MFCI’s “Top Trader Competition” is intended as a client engagement initiative and recognizes participant performance during the competition period only. Investing and trading involve significant risk, including the potential loss of some or all invested capital, and past performance is not indicative of future results. Higher potential returns are frequently associated with higher levels of risk, and self-directed investing and trading may not be suitable for all investors. By participating in the Competition, participants acknowledge that they have independently assessed the suitability of participating based on their own financial circumstances, investment objectives, risk tolerance, investment knowledge, and trading experience.

     The Competition is not intended to create unrealistic expectations of profitability, minimize the risks associated with trading or investing, or imply that successful outcomes are guaranteed, predictable, or typical for retail investors. All leaderboard information, rankings, participant activity, and competition statistics are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute investment advice, recommendations, endorsements, or guarantees of future performance.

3. MFCI shall not be responsible for any trading losses, indirect damages, delayed executions, ranking inaccuracies, system interruptions, network latency, technical malfunctions, market disruptions, or other operational issues affecting participation in the Competition. MFCI reserves the right to interpret, amend, suspend, or terminate the Competition rules, rankings, eligibility criteria, or related terms at its sole discretion, subject to applicable laws and regulatory requirements.

4. The rewards in this Program are offered by Moomoo Financial Canada Inc.. Moomoo Technologies Inc. and Moomoo Financial Canada Inc. are indirect, subsidiaries of Futu Holdings Limited. The moomoo app is a financial information app offered by Moomoo Technologies Inc. Securities products available through the moomoo app are offered by Moomoo Financial Canada Inc. and is a member of CIRO and CIPF.

5. This offer is limited to one reward per new account, with no more than one account enrolled per person. Moomoo Technologies Inc. and Moomoo Financial Canada Inc. do not provide investment advice and does not hereby recommend any security or transaction.

6. This Program is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws. The decisions of Moomoo Financial Canada Inc. with respect to all aspects of this Program are final and binding on all participants without right of appeal. Anyone deemed by Moomoo Financial Canada Inc. to be in violation of Moomoo Financial Canada Inc’s interpretation of the program is subject to disqualification in the sole and absolute discretion of Moomoo Financial Canada Inc. at any time.

7. Moomoo Financial Canada Inc. reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to disqualify any individual and update these terms that it deems to be in violation of. Moomoo Financial Canada Inc. reserves the right to refuse an entry from any person whose eligibility is in question or who has been disqualified or is otherwise ineligible to enter. In its sole and absolute determination, Moomoo Financial Canada Inc. May disqualify any person who acts in any manner to threaten or abuse or harass any person and to void all such person’s entries. Other restrictions may apply and will be posted on the moomoo app or website prior to effectiveness. Moomoo Financial Canada Inc. reserves the right, at its discretion, to adjust the incentive program parameters.

8. Moomoo Financial Canada Inc. may change rates associated with any promotional items at any time in its sole discretion without notice. Additional restrictions apply with our Cash Sweep promotion and is intended for retail clients only. Certain large cash balances may be considered at an institutional level and may not be eligible for this promotion.

9. By entering this Program, you expressly consent to Moomoo Financial Canada Inc. to use your personal information submitted for the purpose of administering the Program and in accordance with Moomoo Financial Canada Inc.’s Privacy Policy. You can only register one account with Moomoo. If your Moomoo account shows signs of fraud, abuse, or suspicious activity, e.g., using multiple accounts, Moomoo may, in its sole discretion, forfeit your rewards and limit your chance to participate in future promotions.

10. Each device, regardless mobile or computer, can be only entitled to one sett of rewards.
