Please follow the steps below to open an account with Moomoo Canada:
1. Download the moomoo app and register a moomoo ID using your email address or mobile phone number.
2. In the moomoo app, go to Accounts > Open Account, or click here to complete your information.
3. Based on your needs, choose one of the following account types to open. You may apply to add other account types later:

Individual Margin Account / Individual Cash Account

Tax-Free Savings Account (TFSA)
-
Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP)
-
Spousal Registered Retirement Savings Plan (SRRSP)
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your account opening information.
5. Submit your application.
After you submit your application, if all provided information is verified, your account will usually be approved within 2 business days. If additional documents are required, instructions will be sent by email. You will receive a confirmation email once your account is approved.
Notes:
1. Residential address:
a. A PO Box mailing address is not considered a valid residential address.
b. If the residential address you provide does not match the residential address registered with a government institution, additional proof of address may be required. For details, please refer to How to fill in the correct address.
2. Additional account opening documents:
If additional documents are required during the account opening process to verify your identity, instructions will be sent to your registered email address. Please check your email. For details, please refer to Valid proof for account opening.
To update your supporting documents for account opening, you can click here or send an email to docs@ca.moomoo.com. Your email must include the following information:
